Nallandi was a farmer as well as an actor in the Tamil cinema industry. He rose to prominence as Maayandi in the Tamil film Kadaisi Vivasayi, which also starred Vijay Sethupathi.

In the 69th National Film Awards-Special Mention, his character in Kadaisi Vivasayi received a Special Mention. [1]
Death[edit]
Nallandi died in February 2022 as a result of age-related difficulties.[2]
