Muskan Jindal is an Indian Foreign Service officer in the Ministry of External Affairs (India) and business Student. She was the 87th highest-scoring individual in the UPSC's Civil Services Examination for the year 2019. She completed her B.Com from SD College located in Chandigarh. Jindal topped the exam in her first attempt, to become the first girl from Baddi in Himachal Pradesh to top the civil services exam in first attempt[1] She Secured All India Rank 87[2]

Early life and education[edit]

Muskan Jindal was born in Baddi[3] to Pawan Jindal and Jyoti Jindal. Her father is a businessman and her mother is a housemaker. she had got all India rank of 87 when she wrote the UPSC exam in 2019 She was just 22 years old, and it was her first attempt[4]she completed her Schooling from VR Senior Secondary School, Baddi. Muskan has been a bright student since her school days. She had scored 96 per cent marks in Class XII. After 12th, she completed B.Com from SD College, Chandigarh, in 2018. She had also secured the fifth rank in the merit list in Panjab University, Chandigarh. She started her preparation right in the final year of graduation. Muskan says that becoming IAS Officer was her childhood dream and she would say it to everyone since childhood.[5] She nurtured this dream for long and achieved it one fine day.[6][7][8]

Career[edit]

Clearing the toughest exam in her very first attempt, Jindal got posted in IFS[9][10] Indian Foreign Service officer Muskan Jindal who hails from Baddi of Solan district called on Governor Bandaru Dattatraya at Raj Bhavan. She is undergoing a State Attachment Course organized by HP Institute of Public Administration, Fairlawn, Shimla from April 2021.[11] Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of Muskan Jindal for cracking this examination in her maiden attempt. He wished Muskan a very bright future and all success in her career,Suresh Bhardwaj (politician), Rajiv Saizal, Paramjeet Singh, parents of Muskan were also present on the occasion among others.[12]
