Muhammed Saheef AP (born 7 February 2003) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a Defender for Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters[1].

Saheef was born in Tirur and played youth football with Parappur FC before starting his professional career with Kerala Blasters[2].

Saheef won Santosh Trophy in 2021–22 season with Kerala State Team[3].

Career[edit]

Saheef gained prominence through performances in the 2021–22 Kerala Premier League with Parappur FC and the 2021–22 Santosh Trophy with the Kerala State Team, who emerged victorious in the tournament[3]. In the subsequent season, Saheef's talent was acknowledged by Kerala Blasters as he secured a spot in their Reserve team[4][5]. Saheef featured briefly in the 2022 Durand Cup[6], where the club fielded its reserve team as the primary squad for the tournament. Saheef also participated in the 2023 Indian Super Cup[7][8], where he debuted as a substitute against Sreenidi Deccan FC[9], later starting against Bengaluru FC[10].

In the 2023-24 season, Kerala Blasters extended Saheef's contract along with fellow players Mohammed Azhar and Mohammed Aimen until 2026[11][12]. He was also part of the 2023 Durand Cup squad and featured in all three matches[13][14].
