Model English High School (M.E.H.S.) is the one of the oldest schools in Kalyan city. It runs under The East Kalyan Welfare Society. The medium of instruction is English. The school houses classes from kindergarten to class ten. In early 2000, the school further moved on to Model Jr. College for Science and Commerce

Model English high school was established in 1977, under the board of kalyan east Welfare Society. college has a motto "God Is Our Strength"

The school was started in a small place and occupied the top floors of a residential building, and as it grew the school shifted to a new place of its own.

The trust now has a separate building which houses the Secondary College.
