Mere Naam Hai Mohabaat (Urdu: میرا نام ہے محبت ; ) is a romantic drama film from Pakistan released in 1975. The narrative of the film draws inspiration from the 1970 movie Love Story, which itself was adapted from Eric Segal's novel of the same name. The film garnered critical acclaim, winning the Nigar Award for Best Film of the Year in 1975, along with six additional awards across various categories. It also found success in China upon its release.
Following the film's triumph, Babra Sharif emerged as one of the most beloved actresses in Pakistani cinema, enjoying nearly two decades of popularity.

In China, it was released in 1981, riding on the wave of successful Indian films like Awaara, Noorie, and Caravan that had captivated audiences in previous years. The film became the highest-grossing foreign film of 1981, with approximately 60 million tickets sold. At an average ticket price of CN¥0.2, it grossed around CN¥12 million, which translates to about $7.1 million (7 crore Rs. ). When adjusted for inflation, this figure rises to roughly $25 million (3.3 arab Rs. ).
