Mayur Public School is a school located in I.P Extension, New Delhi, India, It is a senior secondary co-ed school with an envious academic and co-curricular track record over the last few decades. The school boosts of producing CAs, bureaucrats, doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, lawyers, researchers, professors, RJs, corporate professionals and teachers every year. The school has a state of the art infrastructure, including digitally equipped computer labs, language labs, a robotics lab, Mathematic lab, and physics, chemistry and biology lab. The school mainly emphasizes basketball, lawn tennis, football, volleyball, handball, and kho-kho and maintains adequate grounds to uphold these activities. Taekwondo, yoga, western dance, classical dance, vocal music, instrumental music, and theater activities are all a part of a child's curriculum.
The school follows a child-centric approach where in the principal, school heads, coordinators and teachers are readily approachable and supportive. Concepts in science and Mathematic are supported with hands-on kits used by every individual child, under the guidance of special trainers and trained teachers in the classes and in the subject labs. The school invigorates its age old clubs running in the school that help children to outshine in their field of interest. These include MPSMUN Club, Literary Club, Photography Club, Legal Literacy Club, Music Studio, Youth Parliament, Robotics Club, Eco Club, Sanitation Club, etc. Clubs for Mathematic , English, Hindi, Sanskrit, General Knowledge and Art & Craft have been a part of the school since its inception. Life skills, such as decision making, critical thinking, effective communication, assertiveness and self awareness are imparted from nursery itself in the school to prepare Mayurians for life with the help of a reputed provider that caters to education in sports. The school includes mainly two streams after class 10th that is Science stream and Commerce stream.School was ranked 141 in www.educationworld.in in the year 2017, for providing facilities at par with its counterparts across pan India. The school has been awarded the International School Award by the British Council for collaborating and associating with international schools and communities across the globe.
