Plot[edit]

The film begins with Kshira Sagara Madanam where gods & demons churn the ocean to release Amrutham the nectar of immortal life when Lord Vishnu (N. T. Rama Rao) in the form of Jagan Mohini (Kanchana) the enchantress manages to lure the demons into handing over the Amrutham to Gods. Knowing it through Sage Narada (Kanta Rao), Lord Siva (Ramakrishna) speaks down about Vishnu stating that no one can cheat him as he is the man who burnt out the lust. Upon hearing it, Vishnu again arrives as Mohini, attracts Siva when he too falls for her beauty. Then Lord Vishnu shows in his original form and heckles at Siva where he challenges Vishnu that he will also teach him a lesson. Goddess Lakshmi (Vanisri) also argues with Vishnu that woman is superior to men, that's why Vishnu has taken a woman's form and they decide to prove it. Now Vishnu takes an avatar of sage Maya Machindra and preaches recites to get salvation. On the provocation of Narada, Lord Hanuman (Arjan Janardhan Rao) checks in to test Machindra when he recognizes him as his Lord and bows at his feet. Lord Siva takes the form of Gorakh and becomes a disciple of Machindra. Lakshmi takes birth as a queen, Tilottama Devi a men hater men and establishes a women's kingdom. Listening to it, Machindra encounters her when she warns him. But her tricks does not succeed, so, she becomes his disciple, marries him and the couple is blessed with a baby boy Meenanatha. Learning it through Hanuman, Gorak decides to divert his mentor mind back to spirituality. But Tilottama Devi does not allow his attempts to become fruitful and also try to eliminate him. But Gorak succeeds in taking away his mentor along with him when his son's bondage pulls him back. At that moment, Gorak sends a snake on Meenanatha and he dies. Machindra tries to make the boy live, but he loses his powers due to physical bondage then Machindra asks Gorak to try, but he too fails. Disheartened, Gorak immolates himself, Hanuman brings out his ashes and requests Machindra to make Gorak alive when his attempt with a true heart flourish. At that point in time, Gorak questions why he is not able to make Meenanatha alive? There, Hanuman enlightens him that his entire power is devotion on his mentor which he has forgotten due to arrogance. Gorak realizes his mistake, prays to his mentor and makes Meenanatha alive. Finally, all of them reach back Vaikuntam when Lord Vishnu explains that the male & female are equal in the creation and humans must be spared from illusion.
