Synopsis[edit]

The film paints the story of Tonsana's family. Tonsana is a retired amin who finds himself difficult to adapt to the changing Manipuri society. His eldest son Ibohal is an easy going, spoilt person whose unmindful actions makes his own life disastrous. Neglecting his wife Tampak, he maintains illicit affairs with Sunita.

Ibotombi, Tonsana's second son is an angry young man who always attempts to challenge the old values. Tonsana's only daughter Tondonbi is a college going lady who never has a clear goal in her life. She goes on to contest in college elections but ends up being chased by a young guy Birjit. Each of the family members fails miserably in their lives. But, at last, they realise each other's mistakes.

Tonsana dreams of going to a pilgrimage. That dream never materializes but the family is brought into a happy union.
