Maroada is a small village situated in Patti Kandwalsyun, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India. It is situated in the laps of beautiful mountains of Uttarakhand. It is only 9 km away from Devpryag, on the way to Pauri. Devpryag is a very famous pilgrimage for Hindus as it is the starting point of the Holy river Ganga Though the people of Maroda migrated to the urban areas like Delhi for their bread & butter and in the search of good education, but they are still very attached to this small village. The inhabitants of Maroda consider themselves very fortunate as this village is situated in the foot-hills of Jai Daanda Nagraja Mandir.
