Mahtab Alam (Bihar Politician)
Mahtab Alam (born 06 January 1970), better known as Manna, is a social worker and an Indian Politician of LJP from the state of Bihar. He is serving as a Member at Chairperson in Consultative Committee of FCI.[1] from 3 October 2016 till date.
He appointed position of incharge of Siwan district representing LJP and also the incharge of East India Dalit Sena a unit of LJP.

Early Life[edit]
Mahtab Alam was born on 06 January 1970 in a landowning family in Nohsa, Phulwarisharif, Patna Bihar. He studied in a public school, Patna and completed his graduation in Political Science from B N Collage, Patna. Mahtab Alam is his official name but nickname is Manna given by his grandparent in childhood. He was the collage president as well as the student union leader.
Political Career[edit]
Mahtab started his political career in 1995 by joining Samta Party with ex-mla Satish Kumar Nalanda. Later he joined Lok Shakti and Nationalist Congress Party in 1997 and 1999 respectively.
Lastly in 2005, he joined Lok Janshakti Party and was appointed as state general secretary, incharge and the spokesperson by Pashupati Kumar Paras and addressed mission 2019[2] with Chirag Paswan[3].
In 2010, he also organised the muslim rally to unite muslims in bihar with Sabir Ali and Ahmad Ashfaque Karim.
In 2016, when Ram Vilas Paswan was the minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, he was appointed as the Member at Chairperson in Consultataive Committee of FCI.
He was the Proponent of LJP to the governers and ministers with Ram Chandra Paswan[4]. He was also the star campaigners of all Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha Election Bihar[5]
Personal Life[edit]
Mahtab Alam married in 2002. He has a fat Indian Family with five brothers. His son's name is Ayaan Mahtab who is currently studying.
