Maharana Pratap Engineering College is an Indian private engineering college in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in the year 1999 by the Maharana Pratap Group of Institutions. The Group also operates its University in Jaipur (Pratap University). The College operates from 50 acres campus[vague] in Kothi, Mandhana, Kanpur and another campus (MIPS) in Baikunthpur, Bithoor, Kanpur. The group operates (MITS) Maharana Institute of Technology & Sciences in Gaura, MohanlalGanj, Raebareliey Road, Lucknow. The engineering courses offered are affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E.).[citation needed]
