Machavaram is a village in Palnadu district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the headquarters of Machavaram mandal. There are two major towns near this village is DACHEPALLE and PIDUGURALLA.

Machavaram is situated at 16Ā°36ā²00ā³N 79Ā°44ā²00ā³Eļ»æ / ļ»æ16.6Ā°N 79.7333Ā°E. It is spread over an area of 1,416 ha (3,500 acres).[2]
Governance[edit | edit source]
Machavaram gram panchayat is the local self-government of the village.[1] It is divided into wards and each ward is represented by a ward member.[4]
Education[edit | edit source]
As per the school information report for the academic year 2018ā19, the village has a total of 10 schools. These include 3 private and 7 Zilla Parishad/MPP schools.[5]
