Lucas Raven is a UAE-based travel editor, public figure, and actor.[1][2][3]

Personal life[edit]

Lucas was born in the Philippines on May 26, 1990. He grew up in New York City as a diplomat child, eldest in a family of five. His father is American-Lebanese and his mother is Spanish-Filipino. Lucas is married to Chris Flanagan whom he met in Qatar while he was on a business tour. They married in July 2019 in Lough Eske Castle Donegal, Ireland.[4]

Career[edit]

He started his career in 2006 as a video jockey for MTV Asia and in 2012 he started travel blogging. Raven has been a contributor to several international platforms and has his own travel column on various prominent platforms, both digital and print, where he regularly shares his travel experiences. In 2019, he joined forces with Metier Crafts, authentic Panama hat makers from Ecuador.

He launched a collaborative hat label Raven X Metier in 2021 and is now selling worldwide.[5] He has done advertising campaign with Coca Cola, United Colors of Benetton, Y3, Colgate and have been featured on GQ in Japan, Turkey, Italy and the U.S.[6][7][8][9]
