Lonkhedi is a village in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 35 kilometres (22 mi) from sub district headquarter and 35 kilometres (22 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 675 houses and a population of 3497 of which 1782 are males while 1715 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 271 people are from Schedule Caste and 854 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
