Karang Island

The Karang Island in the Loktak lake.jpg The Karang Island (Meitei: ꯀꯔꯥꯡ ꯏꯊꯠ; Old Manipuri: ꯀꯂꯥꯪ ꯏꯊꯠ) is an island in the middle of the Loktak lake of Manipur. It is the first cashless island in India, as declared by the Union Ministry of Electronics. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Eastern Indian zone.[1][2][3][4][5]
