Kandari clan are a community from the Indian state of Uttarakhand. They are a part of the Rajput caste. Mostly found in Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Pauri district of Uttarakhand. They migrated to garhwal region from Mathura in 361 AD. They were the heirs of Kandari King(Kandari Thakurai Kingdom).[citation needed]
