Traction[edit | edit source]

As the route is yet to be fully electrified, it is hauled by a Malda Diesel Loco Shed-based WDM-3A or WDM-3D from Gaya up to Kamakhya until remainder of the journey ends at Kamakhya.

Rake maintenance[edit | edit source]

The train is maintained by the Guwahati Coaching Depot. The same rake is used for Kamakhya–Anand Vihar Weekly Express for one way which is altered by the second rake on the other way.
