Kaliyuga Krishnudu (transl.Krishna of Kaliyuga) is a 1986 Indian Telugu-language action film, produced by Chalapathi Rao, A. K. V. Prasad in the banner of Viswashanthi Enterprises and directed by K. Murali Mohana Rao. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Radha and music composed by Chakravarthy. The film was recorded as a Hit at the box office.[2]

Plot[edit]

Siddeswara Rao (Rao Gopal Rao) a malicious, his sister Gayatri Devi (Sarada) returns from abroad along with her husband Vasudeva Rao (Ranganath). She seeks her share of the property which he denies. Moreover, he kills Vasudeva Rao and incriminates Gayatri Devi. Fortunately, she is pregnant at that time and gives birth to a baby boy. Knowing it, Siddeswara Rao attempts to eliminate him too by his henchman Sambaiah (Gollapudi Maruti Rao). He abducts the child when a truck driver Rangaiah (Nutan Prasad) rescues him. Out of fear, Sambaiah informs the kid's death Siddeswara Rao when he backstabs him but he escapes. In tandem, Rangaiah's couple rears the boy affectionately as Mohana Krishna. Years roll by, Mohana Krishna (Nandamuri Balakrishna) raises as a valiant who confronts the unjust. Being an unbeknownst, he encounters Siddeswara Rao, squabbles with his snobbish daughter Anuradha (Radha), and roguish son Ramesh (Sudhakar). Hence, they begrudge him. Meanwhile, Gayatri Devi is released, gets her share, and declares business warfare against her brother. She unites Mohana Krishna when unknown bondage develops between them and they are almost at the edge to destroy Siddeswara Rao. During that plight, Anuradha conspires and penalizes Mohana Krishna on a false allegation. Therefore, as a counter-attack, he marries her with play-act when being aware of her father's devilish shade Anuradha reforms and proceeds with Mohana Krishna. Afterward, Rangaiah detects Sambaiah but unfortunately, goes into the hands of Siddeswara Rao and he learns that Mohana Krishna as Gayatri Devi's son. Here, he, makes Sambaiah provokes Mohana Krishna against his mother but they fuse when the truth comes out. Then, enraged Ramesh tries to molest Lakshmi (Madhuri) daughter of Sambaiah. Unfortunately, Sambaiah only kills Lakshmi by mistake. At that juncture, Mohana Krishna plays the same old trick of Siddeswara Rao and involves Ramesh in the crime. So, Siddeswara Rao tries to break the bars of the prison to release his son when Mohana Krishna interferes and eliminate them.
