Jyotti Dutt Krishan

Jyotti Dutt Krishan (died 19 May 2021) was an Indian police officer.

Biography[edit | edit source]

After completing his studies at Delhi University,[1] Dutt joined the National Security Guard in 1971.[2]

In 2006 he was appointed Director General of the National Security Guard and served, in that position, till 2009.[2] Whilst serving as Director General, Krishan led the commando forces during the 2008 Mumbai attacks. [3]

Krishan died from COVID-19, aged 72, in 2021.[4]
