Jujhautiya Brahmin

The Jijhotia Brahaman(also spelled Jijhautia) are Yajurhotik Vedik Brahmin community found the Chambal and Yamuna river valleys in the north, and Tamas river east & the Narbada valley in the south. Chhatarpur District & Panna District Hoshangabad District Madhya Pradesh is the centre and cultural focus of this community. The Jijhotia Brahmin Main Vedic Branch[1]

Jijhotiya Brahmin are mainly divided in to Kadamanikapuri and Bundelkhandi Jijhotiya.
