Joint resistance leadership (JRL) refers to the alliance of top ranked separatist leaders of Kashmir. The resistance leadership includes Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Yasin Malik and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.[1]

Activities[edit]

The Joint resistance leadership is actively involved in the actions which advocates separation of Kashmir from India. They issue the protest calendars in the valley in the form of shutdowns or marching towards certain areas because of solidarity reasons. They also call for boycott of elections. [2][3]
