JSW Ispat Special Products Limited

JSW Ispat Special Products Limited formerly known as Monnet Ispat and Energy Ltd is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of pellets, sponge iron, ferro alloys, billets, structural steels and thermo mechanically treated (TMT) bars. It has integrated steel plant at Raigarh that has a production capacity of approximately 1.5 million tons per annum (MTPA) to produce hot rolled (HR) plates, rebars and structure profiles to cater to the infrastructure and construction industry.

History

Monnet Ispat & Energy Limited (MIEL) was incorporated on 1990 by its Chairman & Managing Director, Mr. Sandeep Jajodia. A Monnet group company, it is engaged in the business of sponge iron, steel ingot & billets and coal mining.Monnet Ispat & Energy Limited (MIEL), has a de-risked business portfolio that encompasses Ferro Alloys, Coal Washing, Mining and Real Estate.

MIEL had a world class integrated steel plant at Raigarh that has a production capacity of 1.5 MTPA. In August 2018, Monnet Ispat & Energy Limited (MIEL), has been acquired jointly by a consortium of Aion Investments Private Limited (AION) and JSW Steel Limited.The name of the Company has been changed to JSW Ispat Special Products Limited with effect from 23 September 2020.
