The Higher and Technical Institute Mizoram (HATIM) is the first Christian Residential Co–Ed College in Mizoram, India, and is located in Lunglei. HATIM was started in June 2007 as the first Christian College in Mizoram. HATIM is sponsored and promoted by the Baptist Church of Mizoram.[1] All courses with HATIM are affiliated to Mizoram University.

The campus of HATIM was located at Chanmari-III (Falkawn), Lunglei.[2] HATIM has been shifted to a new and permanent Campus at Kawmzawl, Pukpui.[3] The Campus of HATIM is being developed. The Administrative Building, Women's Hostel, Men's Hostel, Students Centre and Academic Block 'A' have been completed. The Academic Block 'C', which is proposed to have six floors is under construction and will be completed soon. An underground water reservoir with a capacity of 500,000 litres and two other tanks with capacity of 12,000litres each are completed. The whole Campus is endowed with lush greenery and well electrified. A very reliable WiFi internet connection is provided throughout the campus.[4]

Academic courses[edit]

HATIM Offers the following courses.[5] HATIM has the highest pass percentage among undergraduate under Mizoram University.[6]

  1. Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
  2. Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) with specialisation in E-Commerce and Finance.
  3. Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
  4. Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English, Philosophy, History, Psychology, Education.
