Hanste Aansoo is a 1950 Indian film directed by K.B. Lall and starring Madhubala and Motilal in lead roles.[1][2] The music for the film is composed by Ghulam Mohammed.[3]
It was the first Indian film to get A-Only for Adults certification, following the amendment of the original Indian Cinematograph Act (1918) in December 1949.[4][5][6]

Reception
The "A certificate" awarded to the film raised many eyebrows. Consequently, the film underperformed at the box-office and failed to bring audience in the theatres despite starring marketable actors like Madhubala and Motilal.[8]
