Hadelin de Ponteves

Hadelin de Ponteves is a French entrepreneur, a former data scientist at Google, and author of a book of an AI Crash Course.[1] He is also the co-founder and CEO of BlueLife AI.[2] In 2021 he was awarded the honorary PhD doctorate by the Academy of Universal Global Peace (AUGP).[3]

Early life and backgroundEdit

Hadelin was born and grew up in Paris, France, where he followed the traditional French education. Being good in math, he decided to enter the Mathematics Program at the Paris-Sud University. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Pure Mathematics and earned a Master of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence from École Centrale Paris in 2015.[4]

Following his studies, Hadelin started to work as a Data Scientist at Google in 2015 and developed his first AI algorithm. While working at Google, he got aspired to become an entrepreneur. Hadelin teamed up with an Australia-based entrepreneur Kirill Eremenko to start his first business. He began his very first creation: Machine Learning A-Z and released the first beta version in 2016 and the full version in 2017 in partnership with Kirill Eremenko.[4] He went on to create artificial intelligence-based educational e-courses that have reached over 1.6 million students in 200 countries globally.[5]

Hadelin met Kirill Eremenko first in the US in 2017 and after a year, started BlueLife AI in partnership with Kirill Eremenko. BlueLife AI creates artificial intelligence for companies and institutions including a trading robot for a multi-billion-dollar company.[5]

Before moving into his business, Hadelin wanted to pursue his passion for acting. When he was 10 years of age, he did theatre in Paris, where he played at Théâtre du Châtelet. During college life, Hadelin was part of a drama club where he acted in William Shakespeare’s works. He got trained in acting in Los Angeles for two years.[2]
