Genrobotics

Genrobotics is an Indian start-up company founded in 2015.[1] Arun George, Nikhil NP, Rashid K, and Vimal Govind MK, co-founded Genrobotics. The company's products include Bandicoot, a sewage cleaning robot that could clean up to 10 to 12 sewers in a single shift, taking about 30 to 40 minutes per sewer/manhole.[2] A single Bandicoot unit costs between INR 12 to 40 lakh, depending on the features and technology incorporated into it.[3] Bandicoot is claimed to be world's first robotic scavenger.[4] Genrobotics is backed by Anand Mahindra, Sridhar Vembu and many other angel investors.[4] Founders of Genrobotics selected for Adani Group fellowship In 2022 December. In 2022, Genrobotics launched its new robotic gait trainer, G-Gaiter, for the healthcare segment to aid faster recovery from gait disabilities.[5]
