Gausiya Masjid is a Historical and Tourist place in Mehrauli area of Delhi. It is about 700 years old mosque and was built during the reign of Lodi dynasty in India.[1][2] Is it about 20 meter far from the Son Burj Masjid at West Gurugram road.[3]

The mosque was demolished by Delhi Development Authority in 2012.[4][5][6][7] The mosque is half-made still due to the demolition.[8] The Eid and Jumma Prayers are done at the garden behind the mosque.[9] A committee has been made for the preservation of Mosque.[10] The Shia cleric Kalbe Jawwad had raised the issue and asked to Boycott congress.[11]
Naming[edit | edit source]
The mosque was named upon the Sufi saint Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani who is often called Gaus Ul Adham.
