G. Puttaswamy Gowda

G. Puttaswamy Gowda (died 2006) was the member of parliament from Hassan seat of Karnataka state, elected to the 12th Lok Sabha in 1999. He defeated H.D. Deve Gowda, former prime minister of India. He was a member of the Indian National Congress.[1]

Early life[edit]

G. Puttaswamy Gowda was born on June 20, 1937, in Keregodu village in Holenarsipur taluk.[2]
