The Embassy of India in Niamey is a diplomatic mission of the Republic of India to Niger.[1][2]


Leadership[edit]

Ambassador is in charge of the embassy. Prem K Nair is the current Ambassador of India to Niger.[3][4]

Embassy serves Niger region.[5]

History[edit]

India opened its embassy in Niamey in May 2009, and the first resident Indian Ambassador to Niger assumed office in August 2010.[6]

Education[edit]

Scholarships are offered by the embassy to local nationals to study in India.[7]
