Edirkottai is a small village in Sivakasi taluk of Tamil Nadu, India. It is located 15 km from Sivakasi and 18 km from Sattur. It is legislative of sattur the MLA is M.S.R. RAJA VARMAN.B. MANICKAM TAGORE IS MP OF VIRUDHUNAGAR.
It has a bus stop and a primary school. It is a place of natural beauty. It has a 24-hour panchayat located on the main road. In May or June it has kovil pongal.
In September or October it has a massive festival.
