Gunturu Seshendra Sharma , popularly known as Seshendra , is a unique poet of 20th century poetry and research scholarship in general.
Seshendra gave new sense of direction to Indian poetry with his long poems , which he compiled him into one Magnum Opus and named it " Adhunika Mahabharatam ( Modern Great India ). His scholarship in Sanskrit is unsurpassed and shall remain so for ages to come. Seshendra's Research work on Valmiki Ramayana is a revolutionary interpretation of Rishi's Epic. In " Shodasi : Secrets of The Ramayana " He says Valmiki Ramayana is not just a story . Valmiki embedded Kundalini Yoga in this story and the interesting narrative and enchanting poetry are sugar coating to Kundalini Yoga. Sundara Kanda , Chapter of the Ramayana is Kundalini Yoga and Sage Valmiki embedded Gayathri Mantra in Trijata Swapna in Sundara Kanda. Seshendra Sharma's works on Poetics are yet another Lank Mark in 20th Century's Literature. His " Kavisena Manifesto " is land mark in modern Indian Poetics. His long essays on poetics his " My Diary : Arc of Blood " other works are invaluable contribution to evolution of modern poetics. Thus , Seshendra Sharma stands out as a towering personality of poetry of 20th century. That is the reason why he is honored with titles " Visionary Poet of the Millennium " " An Indian Poet Prophet " .
