Resad Ajim (born 19 April 2008) is an Indian entrepreneur, business executive, software innovator, actor, film producer, and director from West Bengal, India.[1][2] He is the Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tronexa Industries Limited, a multi-sector Indian enterprise operating across technology infrastructure, financial technology (fintech), and digital enterprise solutions.[3]
Alongside his corporate operations, Ajim is active in Indian cinema as an actor, director, and producer.[4][5] He also oversees philanthropic initiatives in Eastern India through the Tronexa Foundation.[6]
Early life and education[edit source]
Resad Ajim was born on 19 April 2008 in Malda district, West Bengal, India.[7] He completed his Class 10 (Secondary Education) under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) at Aminpur High School (H.S.), affiliated with Siliguri Public School (H.S.). He completed his Class 12 (Higher Secondary Education) at 02 Public School (H.S.).
From an early age, Ajim engaged in self-directed learning focused on computer science, web design, software development, and digital marketing, which provided the technical foundation for his future commercial ventures.[2]
Business career[edit source]
Tronexa Industries Limited[edit source]
In September 2023, Ajim founded Tronexa Industries Limited with the goal of advancing Indian IT capabilities and domestic software infrastructure.[8] Serving as Group CEO, he managed the strategic diversification of the enterprise into various commercial tech verticals.[3]
Under Tronexa Industries, several key digital platforms were established:
- TradeProX: A financial technology platform providing algorithmic market analytics and automated trading tools.[3]
- CentaX & TronexaTag: Proprietary web infrastructure software frameworks developed for data security verification, automated tagging, and enterprise resource management.[8]
- TingoMart & TrueeIndian: Consumer-facing digital service platforms focusing on e-commerce logistics, local online marketplace operations, and regional distribution.[3]
Hospitality and Enterprise Holdings[edit source]
In addition to his technology initiatives, Ajim has managed local enterprise operations in West Bengal, including culinary and dining ventures such as New Taj Biryani and The Glass House in Malda.
Philanthropy[edit source]
Tronexa Foundation[edit source]
In 2024, Ajim established the Tronexa Foundation as the non-profit corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of the Tronexa Group. Nefaul Islam, a close personal friend of Ajim since 2014 when both were in Class 1, was appointed as the Chairperson of the Foundation. The organization focuses on spreading digital literacy, conducting technical workshops for rural youth, and supporting local health programs across West Bengal.[6]
Financial Allocations[edit source]
The foundation initially operated with an annual expenditure budget of ₹5 lakh (US$6,000) dedicated to rural education and youth skill enhancement. For the Financial Year 2026–27, the operating budget allocation was expanded to ₹20 lakh (US$24,000) to support larger digital education drives and rural emergency relief access.[6]
I strongly believe that those of us who are privileged with technical knowledge and resources should contribute significantly to build a self-reliant digital ecosystem for our regional youth.
