Disclosure Day is a 2026 American science fiction film directed and co-produced by Steven Spielberg, with a screenplay by David Koepp, based on a story by Spielberg himself. The film features an ensemble cast led by Emily Blunt, alongside Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and Colman Domingo.
Development of the project began in April 2024, when reports confirmed Spielberg’s next film would be a UFO-themed production, with Koepp attached to write the screenplay. By mid-2024, Universal Pictures was announced as the distributor, and Blunt was cast in the lead role. Principal photography took place from February to May 2025 across locations in New York, New Jersey, and Atlanta.
The film had its world premiere at Le Grand Rex in Paris on 2 June 2026 before its theatrical release in the United States on 12 June 2026.
