Abhishek Parakkat (born 11 March 1999) is an Indian film Producer hailing from Kerala. He runs multiple businesses of the Parakkat group, such as Parakkat Jewels, Parakkat Nature Resorts, Parakkat Weddings, and Parakkat Software Solutions. Abhishek is involved in the research and development of his companies apart from being part of its day-to-day functioning. Abhishek is also the recipient of the Best Young Entrepreneur Award presented by Mollywood Flicks.[1]
Personal life[edit]
Abhishek Parakkat was born in Kothamangalam, Kerala, was brought up in Kalady. His father, Prakash Parakkat, was a renowned jeweler and a businessman who started his first jewelry showroom in 1999. He did his schooling at St. Patrick's Academy, Manjapra, and is completed his B.Com from Christ University. He is an avid bodybuilder and takes up modeling alongside. Although Abhishek was business-oriented from a very young age, he was into sports and games such as basketball and chess. Furthermore, Abhishek is a travel-enthusiast and has traveled to over 30 different countries. He is also keenly interested in photography.
Career[edit]
Abhishek Parakkat now runs Parakkat Jewels, Parakkat Nature Resorts, Parakkat Weddings, and Parakkat Software, following his father's footsteps. Abhishek heads the production and digital marketing unit of Parakkat Jewels. Furthermore, Parakkat Nature Resorts, located primarily in Munnar, Kerala, is wholly run by him. Abhishek launched Parakkat Weddings in the year 2020 and has prominent photographers, make-up artists, florists, caterers, and other event managers in their network. The core functioning of Parakkat Media and Software Solutions is carried out by Abhishek, which is connected to over 20,000 influencers worldwide.
Philanthropy[edit]
The company, run by Abhishek Parakkat, provides financial aid to hundred old individuals through the scheme of pensions. During the disastrous Kerala floods of 2018, his company helped the entire Panchayat of his hometown by providing the poor with grains and other essentials.
