Districts of Bhutan
The Kingdom of Bhutan is organized into 20 districts, known as dzongkhags (IAST: dzongkhags)
[lower-alpha 1] in Dzongkha, the national language. Geographically, Bhutan is situated on the eastern slopes of the Himalayas, nestled between the Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north and India to the south, forming part of the Indian subcontinent.
