The Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation [n 1] (DG I&I) functions as a department within the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in Pakistan. Its primary role is to act as the intelligence wing of the FBR, focusing on the investigation of revenue-related crimes and offenses on a daily basis. The DG I&I plays a critical part in enhancing the FBR's capabilities to combat tax evasion and other financial misconduct.
