Dharti Kahe Pukarke (transl. Call of the Earth) is a 1969 Indian Hindi-language drama film, produced by Deenanath Shastri under the Vaishali Films banner and[2] directed by Dulal Guha.[3] Starring Jeetendra, Nanda, Sanjeev Kumar and music composed by Laxmikant–Pyarelal.[4][5][6] The film was remade as Sautela Bhai.
Plot[edit]
It is a story of three brothers; Gangaram, Moti and Shiv. Moti studies law supported by his brothers, while Shiv helps Gangaram in cultivating the piece of land they own. Gangaram borrows some amount from the local moneylender against this piece of land for Moti's law studies. Moti has secretly married with Rekha in Calcutta and become a ghar jamai while Shiv is in love with this moneylender's daughter Radha. Moti, after learning about the amount borrowed by his brother, decides to come back only after he has a sufficient amount to repay the loan. On the other hand, Shiv moves to the city as a driver to earn his livelihood. Misunderstanding and different culture makes Moti to leave his wife house.Shiv saves Moti's wife from a goon.She comes back home to live with Moti.
