Darul Huda Islamic University [1] is an private Islamic university[2][3] in the district of Malappuram[4] co-ordinated by Darul Huda Islamic Academy. It was founded in 1986, first as an Islamic Academy and was later upgraded to a private Islamic University[5] status with International recognition in 2009[6] with different programs for Primary,[7] Under Graduate,[8] Post Graduate[9] and Diploma/ Certificate[10] courses along with 4 integrated programs.[11][12][13][14]

The organization, Darul Huda Islamic Academy was registered under the Societies Registration Act (165/1989) in 1986 as a non-governmental organization and the university, Darul Huda Islamic University was established in 2009.[1] Currently, it has affiliated colleges all across Kerala[15] and other states in India[2] including Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka and Assam.[2][3] Darul Huda Islamic University has produced hundreds of proficient Islamic scholars who aims at empowering the community along with the modern sciences.[16][17]
