Colors Gujarati (ક્લર્સ ગુજરાતી), formerly known as ETV Gujarati, is an Indian television channel that primarily broadcasts Gujarati entertainment shows.
History[edit]
Based in Ahmedabad, it was started by Prism TV pvt. ltd.[citation needed] It is now part of Viacom 18[1] and TV18[2] which are owned by Network 18.[3] ETV Gujarati was re-branded under the Colors franchise on 20 April 2015.[4]
Colors Gujarati initiated the BIG Gujarati Entertainment Awards for excellence in the world of Gujarati entertainment and also telecasts Gujarati films.
The channel launched in UK in June 2021. It launched on Sky UK on 1 June 2021 and on 8 June 2021 on Virgin TV UK.[citation needed]
