Chandra Das Rai popularly known as C.D Rai was a pro democracy leader of pre merger Sikkim, bureaucrat and former journalist.[2] He was a senior leader in Sikkim State Congress.[3]
He also served as the first editor of Sikkim Herald.[4] His son is former member of parliament Prem Das Rai.
