Category:Pages with a malformed DYK entry
![]() | This is a tracking category. It is used to build and maintain lists of pages—primarily for the sake of the lists themselves and their use in article and category maintenance. It is not part of the encyclopedia's categorization scheme.

This category keeps track of DYK entries of DYK talk and Article history that differ from the standard format
|entry=... that [fact]?
(for DYK talk)|dykentry=... that [fact]?
(for Article history)
It should not be considered authoritative in the sense that the detection logic is still being tweaked and will not handle certain non-standard DYK hooks, like
|entry=... that in 1782, the Qianlong Emperor enquired "lacquer is cause for ten officials to protest; what if it is also carved?" (example pictured)
Those cases can be bypassed by add |bypass-error=yes
to the relevant DYK talk or |dykignoreerror=yes
in the Article history template.
