English : The Yadav (meaning 'descendants of Yadu')[1][2]A people of ancient India who are descendants of the mythological king Yadu. The Yadav dynasty was formed mainly from the Abhiras (present-day Ahirs ), Andhakas, Vrishnis and Satvatas, who were worshippers of Lord Krishna . [3] These people are described in ancient Indian literature as the main members of the Yadu dynasty. The Yadavas are descendants of Yadu and are known by the name Yadav.
