Brinda Acharya born on 18th September 1994 is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Kannada Films in addition to other Indian Language films. She is a recipient of Best Debute Actor and Nobleman Award at the 15th National Kannada Cultural Convention. She started her career in the year 2021 with her first release Premam Poojyam( Released on 12th November). She starred in Premam Poojyam (2021) and Kousalya Supraja Rama (2023). [1][2][3][3]

Early life and Education[edit]

Brinda Acharya was born on 18th Sept 1994 in a teachers family to Anand G Achari and Mahadevi M Achari in Balkur, a town in Honavar Taluk, Uttar Kannada district of Karnataka. She completed her early schooling from JNV North Canara, followed by PUC in SDM Ujire. She completed her BE from KLE College Belgaum in EC department.

Career[edit]

She started her internship in TCS Ahmedabad followed by her career as an IT system engineer in TCS Mumbai, after her BE. She then shifted to Banglore and started working in Infosys before starting her career in the Film Industry.

In the early days she starred in the serial Shani, as Shani’s wife Damini( a Gandharvakanye). She then bagged her first Kannada film PremamPoojyam which was Nenapirali Prem’s 25th film. This was released in the year 2021, November for which she was awarded the Best actor Debute Female Popular category from Chitrasante film awards 2022. She then did a female centric action film Juliet2 which was released in the year 2023, February. This film was acclaimed to be the best with respect to story and her performance.

Her recent film Kousalya Supraja Rama(Released on 28th July 2023) is a massive box office hit and running successfully in the nearest theatres. A movie which narrates the tale of a real man is the talk of the town. [4]
