Bharya Bhartala Bhagotham (transl. Wife & Husband's Drama) is a 1988 Telugu-language comedy film, produced by Maripalli Mahiratnam Gupta and Yamsaani Prakash Gupta under the Gangotri Pictures banner and directed by Mahesh Kumar.[3] It stars Rajendra Prasad, Chandra Mohan, Ashwini, Jeevitha Rajashekar and music composed by Krishna-Chakra.[4]
Plot[edit]
Dr. Ganapathi (Chandra Mohan) and Advocate Bhagothula Subramanyam, alias Basu (Rajendra Prasad) are close friends. Ganapathi falls in love with Arundhathi (Jeevitha Rajashekar) and Basu fa loves Seetha (Ashwini) and they get married. Basu takes care of Arundhathi as his own sister, similarly, Ganapathi too. Once Basu observes that Ganapathi has become drunken when he questions him he replies that his wife Arundhati is having an illegal affair with someone, but Basu does not believe it. There onwards, he follows Arundhathi like a shadow, in that process, he meets with an accident and in which the Taxi driver Babji (Sudhakar) is seriously injured. Babji requests Basu to do a favor, to keep his lonely child with him until he recovers. By the time, Basu reaches Babji's house to peak up his child a shocking incident, he sees marriage photo of Babji & his wife Seetha, their arises misunderstandings between them also. Rest of the story is a comic tale how both the couples come out from these conflicts.
