Bhargava Ramudu is a 1987 Indian Telugu-language action film produced by S. Jaya Rama Rao under the Jaya Productions banner, presented by Rao Gopal Rao and directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy. It stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Vijayashanti and music composed by Chakravarthy.[1][2][3]
Plot[edit]
Bhargav (Nandamuri Balakrishna) an unemployed youth lives with his mother Parvati (Annapurna) and hates his escapist coward father. He falls in love with the beautiful girl Latha (Vijayashanti). Meanwhile, Minister Rajashekaram (Gollapudi Maruti Rao) a spiteful aspires to acquire a government project. So, he pressurizes Chief Engineer Bhanogi Rao (Jaggayya) father of Latha to intrude on his person as an assistant engineer. But Bhargav triumphs, with his merit. Parallelly, his mother passes away. Soon after, Rajashekaram tries in many ways to submissive Bhargav and also lust him with a worse Roja (Mandakini) but fails. In turn, Roja is reformed by him. Therefore, he indicts him for the crime of bribing and sentences him. In jail, he meets his father Tagore (Ranganath), who revolts but understands his virtue learning that he too is a victim of Rajashekaram. Moreover, Tagore dies in a quarrel while guarding Bhargav. Immediately, after being released, he gallantly encounters Rajashekaram. At last, Bhargav ceases the baddies with the help of Roja. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Bhargav & Latha.
