This page summarises the naming conventions for articles about companies on Bharatpedia.
- Use the name by which the company is most commonly known in reliable sources, which is usually its trading or brand name rather than its full legal name.
- Do not add legal suffixes such as "Ltd", "Inc.", "PLC" or "Private Limited" to an article title unless the suffix is needed to tell two companies apart.
- If a company name is ambiguous, add a qualifier in brackets, for example "(company)" or its industry or country.
- Company names that are common words should be disambiguated in the same way as other topics.
