Meatpuppetry (often abbreviated as MEAT) is the practice of recruiting individuals either on-wiki or off-wiki to create accounts or edit anonymously for the purpose of influencing Bharatpedia discussions, votes, or disputes. It is a form of sockpuppetry and is strictly prohibited.
The term is used to describe editors who act as "meatpuppets" for another user, often joining a discussion solely to support a particular position without having independent involvement in the topic. While Bharatpedia assumes good faith for new users, actively recruiting people to sway consensus is not permitted.
