Bani Pasricha (born 18 Nov 1985) is a New Delhi-based Indian fashion designer, artist, businesswoman & the founder of a global brand. She is known for creating most unique fashion designs taking inspiration mostly from the culture of place travelled by her or elementals of nature. Bani is the recipient of the RC Dalal Memorial Award that is considered as one of the most prestigious awards at the India Fashion Week London under the banner National Asian Wedding Show.[1] She was awarded as the "woman of substance 2021" by First India News is a regional news channel based in Rajasthan.

Early life and career[edit]

Bani was born on November 18, 1985 in Delhi to Dupinder Kaur, a businesswoman & House wife and businessman Ranbir Singh Pasricha and has a sibling.

She started her career in the fashion field in 2010 when she decided to experiment with summer courses at London College of fashion.[2] After returning back to India she started her own label by the name Fede By Bani and later she changed to the name of the label under her own name Bani Pasricha.[3] In February 2020, She launched her collection 'The Pharaohs' based on Egyptian monarchs. The launch was held at the prestigious Paris Fashion Week.[4]
