Balchandra Maheshwar Gupte[1] was an Indian politician and member of Constituent Assembly of India. He was a member of the Indian National Congress.[2][3][4]

Early life and education[edit]

Balchandra was born in Pune, Maharashtra on 17 February 1895. He graduated in 1917 with honours in Sanskrit and won fellowship at the college. In 1919 he took his M.A. Degree and in 1920 L.L.B[5][6]
