Bagal (surname)
Bagal (Hindi: बागल) is a surname of Indians commonly used by Maratha and Rajput people.They mainly reside in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Jammu, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh states of India. In general, majority of people are Maratha caste and a small numbers of people belong to the Rajput caste. Bagal families are mainly involved in agricultural work, business and politics, and are known to have been active participants in historical events in Maharashtra.
